Just Perfect

I'm not one to buy journals, but this one is absolutely perfect. I love the artwork on the cover and the images throughout the book. It's well put together and perfect for what I needed it for.

Awesome Journal

Tried to find a Disney journal while vacationing in WDW in February. Couldn’t find a thing. But this journal is the perfect size, with great line spacing and nice cover design. Thanks to Hallmark for providing me with something even Disney World couldn’t.

Lifting the Spirits of the World with Cards

My mom was the queen of cards and even when she and my dad moved to an Atria Retirement facility in Ky some 22 years ago, she promptly became the Sunshine Lady sending cards for birthdays and hospital visits, etc. She would call the front desk every morning to find out who had taken ill over night and get right on it with cards. It got to the point that she really didn't need much personally in such a small environment, so my gifts to her were often boxes of cards and stamps. As a deacon in my church, we had a card ministry and every month we were tasked with sending cards for birthday, recovery, or condolence - often to people we didn't know well and I often wondered how meaningful that really was. That was until my parents died and the condolence cards came down like rain. I still have them and read them from time to time. In cleaning out my mom's apartment when she died, she had a whole drawer of cards that had been sent to her and that she had saved. When my husband was ill and in and out our hospital for over a year, I could see how much the cards he received lifted his spirits. And he has saved them as well. Such a simple gift that truly means the world when you feel your world is coming to bits around you. One of the best parts of being a "member" at Hallmark is getting free card each month. Again, such a small thing, but so fun to pick out one card I don't have to pay for. :-) Cards and letters are truly my legacy from my mom - she wrote to me every week. I know I will be the last person standing in line to buy stamps at the Post Office should they finally have to close their doors. I never used to shop at Hallmark (thinking the cards were too expensive) until someone gave me a gift card for a thank you. Now when I zip in to get my free card, I rarely come out without some other fun thing that was on sale or just caught my eye. You can't go into any other store where the staff are so friendly and helpful. Smiles and cards. :-)
