Missed the (Hall) Mark on this one

I am a miniaturist. I also got married the year these came out. This series was the perfect thing for my husband to gift me every year. This year's ornament is an utter disappointment. The first ornament was described as being in the one twelve scale that most miniaturists work in. Meaning it would be the perfect dollhouse to go into a dollhouse. This ornament is massive in size. It doesn't even have the Christmas tree that is in every single one. The quality stinks. One of the chairs upstairs is crooked. As someone who has hallmark ornaments dating back to the early 70's it's just sad seeing how they have declined since then.

So disappointed

Like so many others I've been collecting this series for years (1986). I really wish I had opened this ornament when I picked up my wish list order. I would not have purchased it. If this is the the "new norm" for this series, I will stop collecting it. This ornament looks so out of proportion with the others in this series. Please fix and make this year just a strange fluke.

Very disappointed

The ornament is too large, has no tree, and looks cheap. It made me sad to see the decline in quality. If they do not return to the original quality, I will not care to further my collection and I have the complete collection.
